Guide to gop caucusing

Locating

Prior to the caucus you must locate your precinct location. These can be found on the Iowa GOP website.

Checking In

After arriving and checking in at your designated precinct the meeting will be called to order.

Speaking

All participants will be given the opportunity to speak on behalf of their favored candidate.

Results

After the results have been announced, the Caucus Chair will take the votes to the County Chair. All the votes from the county will be added together and taken to the State Chair. The State Chair will tally the votes from all 99 counties to determine the state's winner.

Voting

Once speeches have concluded, all participants will cast their vote on a secrete ballot. The votes will be counted in the room and the results announced to the group.
