Chris Christie

Chris Christie is the former Governor of New Jersey, serving two terms from 2010-2018. During this time, he completed a term as the Chairperson for the Republican Governors Association. Prior to serving as Governor, Christie served as the U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey for 6 years. This is Governor Christie’s second bid for the presidency after an unsuccessful bid in 2016. Before holding elected office, Christie was a registered lobbyist in New Jersey, representing clients through the law firm Dughi, Hewit & Palatucci.

Christie announced his 2024 campaign on June 6th, 2023. His campaign slogan is “Because the Truth Matters” and he has focused his campaign on respecting each other as Americans. He also emphasizes the need for people to believe there is good and value in the sole of every human being. He wants to be a president of consequences and embrace the differences that comprise each American.
